We do not smoke our hams – choosing instead to let the natural aging process and the rich, clean mountain air shape the flavor that is distinctly Virginia.

A Cure Steeped in Legacy

From a small grocery store founded in 1949 to becoming the Shenandoah Valley’s only country ham producer, our family’s passion for purposeful curing has never wavered. Using our heritage salt and brown sugar cure recipe – passed down in our family since the early 1900s – we have preserved a distinct Virginia curing tradition known for its rich, savory character.
